Roman John Finnegan, 54 years old of Culver, Indiana, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 in Knox, Indiana.

He was born Thursday, October 7, 1965 in Romeoville, Illinois, Son of the late Owen Finnegan and Josephine(Majchrzak) Pitts.

Roman was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed target shooting and collecting Army memorabilia. Roman was a huge History buff and enjoyed doing ancestry. Roman enjoyed teaching karate and spending time with family and friends.

Roman was retired from the Indiana Department of Corrections.

Surviving are his wife, Lynnette (Majchrzak) Finnegan of Culver, Indiana, Mother and step-father, Josephine and Ron Pitts of Knox, Indiana, Step-son, Johnathon(Tiffany) Abair of Kokomo, Indiana, Step-daughter, Tabitha(James) Riffey of Grovertown, Indiana, Step-daughter, Katelynn(Christopher) Ramsbey of Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee, 8 grandchildren, Brother, Shawn Finnegan of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Sherry Finnegan of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Heather Finnegan of Plainfield, Illinois, Brother, Eric Wolzen, Brother, Rory Wolzen, Brother, Adam Wolzen, Brother, Chris Wolzen, Sister, Michelle Ice, Brother Ron Pitts, Brother John Pitts, Sister Laurie McCay, Sister Rhonda Noah, Sister Susie Ake.

He was preceded in death by father Owen Finnegan, step daughter Jessica Dawn Salyer and sister Tammy Finnegan.

Friends will be received 10 AM CST till time of service at 1 PM CST, Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 1 PM CST.
