About Us

In 1946 the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel based in Knox, Indiana was born out of the vision of Ray Braman. For twenty four years Ray faithfully served our community offering funeral services that were characterized by attention to compassion, integrity, and value. After being involved in the family business for several years, Ray's son Roger Braman formally became the owner of Braman & Son in 1970.

Born and raised in Knox, Roger is no stranger to our community and easily accepted the batton handed to him by his father. Roger has been proud to continued the longstanding tradition of excellent care to families needing quality funeral services that are reasonably priced.

Not content to rest on their laurels, the Braman and Son team expanded their quality funeral services by adding the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home based in North Judson, Indiana to their family in the year of 2000. This fine facility is an excellent addition to our community based service. Longtime partner in the business, Howard Bailey, is instrumental in the success of both of our fine locations and Howard has been with Braman now for over twenty years.

After sixty successful years serving our community, we look forward with excitement to the next sixty years of funeral service in Knox and North Judson!
