Charles R Fort, 68 years old of Knox,, Indiana, died Friday, March 15, 2019 in Knox, Indiana.

He was born Monday, October 23, 1950 in North Judson, Indiana, Son of the late Charles J. Fort and the late Catherine (Pasilas) Fort.

Charles enjoyed fishing and hunting. Charles was a devoted driver and  volunteer for the Community services of Starke county and an avid sports fan, especially rooting for his Cubs and Bears. Charles enjoyed driving his 1968 red Impala. Charles's greatest passion was attending all of his grandchildrens sporting events and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He worked for Conrail railroad.

Surviving are Son, Charles "Chuck" & Kim Fort Jr of Knox, Indiana, Son, Terry & Chrissy Fort of Plymouth, Indiana, Son, Timothy & April Fort of Plymouth, Indiana, Daughter, Caroline & Robert Armstrong Fort of LaPorte, Indiana, 15 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents Charles and Catherine Fort, brother John Fort and sister Mary Lou Arnett.

Friends will be received 4 PM till time of service at 6 PM, Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Knox, Indiana, Braman & Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 6 PM with Pastor Casey Stephens officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Community services of Starke County.
