Oma Hounshell, 81 years old of North Judson, In, died Friday, February 10, 2017 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was born Thursday, March 28, 1935 in Kentucky, Daughter of the late Logan Lovely and the late Nancy(Bailey) Lovely.

Oma was a member of the Denham Freewill Baptist Church. Oma enjoyed gardening and quilting. Oma's greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are Son, Warnie Hounshell JR of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Harold(Deanne) Hounshell of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Sheila(Daniel) Minix of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Shirley(Steve) Hupka of Plymouth, Indiana, Daughter, Debra Wiley of Laporte, Indiana, Daughter, Pamela(Dave) Innerebner of Hayward, Wisconsin, 10 grandchildren 17 great-grandchildren, Sister, Lonnie Miller of Lambrick, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warnie Hounshell, parents Logan and Nancy Lovely, brothers Cecil and Willie Lovely and sisters Edna Lovely, Dorothy Lovely, Goldie Wireman, Ocie Smith, Sollie Stacy and Lola Prater.

Friends will be received 4-8 PM Monday, February 13, 2017 at the at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Denham Freewill Baptist Church, Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11 AM with Rev. Mike Noble officiating.

Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the Kailey Moore cancer fund, she is the great-granddaughter of Oma Hounshell.
