William J Wilson

William Wilson, 94 years old, of Knox, Indiana, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, in Plymouth, Indiana.

He was born Tuesday, April 15, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, Son of the late Harry Wilson and the late Marjorie( Krause) Wilson.

July 1, 1951 in Knox, Indiana, William married Evelyn Warren, she preceded him on November 9, 2015.

William was a member of the 1st Christian Church and Knox Moose Lodge.  He was a licensed pilot who loved to fly his plane.  He also enjoyed boating, dancing, and golfing.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a self-employed painter.

Surviving are Son, William (Diane) Wilson Jr, of Texas, Son, John (Cory) Wilson of Knox, Indiana, 4 grandchildren: William Wilson, Candace Wilson, Tyler Wilson and Kyle Wilson,  4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Wilson, daughter Marilynne Wilson, and parents, Harry and Marjorie Wilson.

Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service at 1 PM, Wednesday, November 20, at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 1 PM, with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oak Park Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
