Wayne L Butler

Wayne L. Butler, 71 years old of Grovertown, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023 in Portage, Indiana.

He was born Friday, November 30, 1951 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Son of the late Harold Butler and the late Betty(Havens) Butler.

March 2, 1991, in Knox, Indiana, Wayne Married Diana Minix, she survives him.

Wayne was a member of the Cross Roads Church.  He loved listening to music and playing guitar.  He had a great passion for old cars and Ford trucks.  He enjoyed fishing and collecting guns.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family.

He worked as a Machinist  for Braun .

Surviving are  his Wife, Diana  Butler of Grovertown, Indiana, Son, Brandon Haddix of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Christine Wyatt of Walkertown, Indiana, Daughter, Audrey Raymond of South Bend , Indiana, Daughter, Wendy(Tim) Glatzer of Powell, Wymoning, Grandchild, 1 grandson Noah Wyatt of Walkertown, Indiana, Sister, Rita(Rick) Binford of Escanaba, Michigan, Niece, Kiana Roat of Escanaba, Michigan, Nephew, Trevor Binford, New Zeland, Special great niece, Isla Roat of Escanaba, Michigan, Sister-in law Brenda(Paul) Stacy of Knox, Indiana, Sister-in-law Kathy(Kelly) Caudill of Knox, Indiana, Brother-in-law Marty Minix and many nieces and nephews and several special great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parensts Harold and Betty Butler, sister Darleen Butler, son-in-law Scott Wyatt, daughter-in-law Tracy Haddix, mother-in-law Melovie Rudd and father-in-law Harry Minix.

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM CST, Thursday, February 23, 2023  at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Friday, February 24, 2023 at 11 AM CST with Pastor Scott Yoder officiating.

Interment will follow in the Eagle Creek Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to Turkey Tracks Hunt Eric Corey Foundation.
