Virginia Lee Clemons

Virginia Lee Clemons, 87 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 in Knox, Indiana.

She was born Sunday, February 27, 1938 in Knox, Indiana, Daughter of the late Coy Allen and the late Lucy(Salyers) Cole.

Virginia was a woman of great faith and member of the Living Water Christian Church.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, her church function and bake sales.  Her greatest passion was helping others and spending time with her family and grandchildren..

Surviving are Son, Gary(Robin) Clemons of Knox, Indiana, Son, Anthony(Angela) Clemons of Knox, Indiana, Son, Adam Clemons of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Charlene Decker of Knox, Indiana, 20 grandchildren 50 great-grandchildren 13 great great-grandchildren, Brother, Guy(Kerry) Cole of Murphysboro, Illinois, Brother, Garrel(Peggy) Cole of North Judson, Indiana, Brother, Coy(Connie) Allen Jr of Stanton, Michigan, Sister, Maxine Wiggins of Wayne, Michigan, Sister, Donna(Kurt) Ellis of Springfield, Ohio, Sister, Lillian(Rick) Brooks of Stanton, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Clemons and  parents Coy Allen and Lucy Cole, brothers: Robert "Bob" Allen, Rev Ben Allen, John Cole, Edward Cole Jr, sisters: Dorothy Clemons, June Allen, Faye Stacy, Gladys DeVault, Shirley Wiggins and son-in-law James Decker. 

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Thursday, August 21 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 1 PM with Brother Stephen Allen officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
