Virgil D. Redlin, 83 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, Tuesday, September 24, 2024 in Laporte, Indiana.
He was born Monday, November 25, 1940 in Winamac, Indiana, Son of the late Carl Redlin and the late Ruth(St. Peter) Redlin.
February 1, 1964, in Logansport, Indiana, Virgil married the former Beulah Minix-Bradley, she survives him.
Virgil was a previous Boy Scout Leader. He enjoyed gardening and sharing his excess vegetables with his neighbors and friends.He loved being a father and spending time with his family,.
He worked as a laborer for Gariup Construction of Gary, Indiana .
Surviving are his wife, Beulah "Boots" Redlin of Knox, Indiana, Son, Rick Bradley of Plymouth, Indiana, Son Tony Bradley of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Garry Redlin of North Judson, Indiana, Sister, Bonnie(Gary) Minix of Winamac, Indiana, 8 grandchildren 15 great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents Carl and Ruth Redlin, brothers Dean and Carl Redlin Jr. and sisters Darleen Redlin, Linda Bailey and Lyla Beauchanp.
Friends will be received 1 PM to 6 PM, Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, of Knox, Indiana.
Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Monday, September 30, 2024 at 1 PM with Brother Paul Day officiating.
Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
