Valerie Ann Williams, 45 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was born Tuesday, June 3, 1980 in Knox, Indiana, Daughter of the late Jacob Hanselman Sr and  Charlotte(Bliss) Griffith.

June 13, 2005, in Plymouth, Indiana, Valerie married James Williams Jr, he survives her.

Valerie enjoyed being outside, gardening, yard work and raising chickens.  She also enjoyed canning and homesteading.  Her greatest passion was helping and spending  time with her family friends..

Surviving are  her husband, James Williams of Knox, Indiana, Son, Gunnar Williams of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, KyleeAnn Williams of Knox, Indiana, Mother and step-father Charlotte(Roger) Griffith of Knox, Indiana,  Brother, Jacob(Tiffany) Hanselman Jr of North Judson, Indiana, Brother, Malachi Griffith of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Iona(Dan) Hanselman of Fish Lake, Indiana, Sister, Amy  Marie Lowry of Argos, Indiana, Sister, Danielle Griffith of Kokomo, Indiana, Sister, Charlotte(Tracy) Messer of Knox, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by father Jacob Hanselman Sr, grandparents Rodney and Charlotte Bliss and William and Clara Hanselman .

No services to be held at this time,  Braman and Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial may be made to the funeral home.
