Timothy R. Shepherd, 72 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 in Laporte, Indiana.
He was born Tuesday, May 2, 1950 in Knox, Indiana, Son of the late Vernon Shepherd and the late Helen(Smith) Shepherd- Chambers.
June 14, 1969 in Knox, Indiana, Tim married Wanda Harper, his beloved wife of 53 years survives him.
Tim was a member of the Knox VFW and Knox Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing in his pastime. His great passion was spending time with his pride and joy his grandsons Conor and Carson and the rest of his beloved family.
He worked for Silgan Containers.
Surviving are his Wife, Wanda Shepherd of Knox, Indiana, Son, Brad(Michelle) Ross of Brunswick, Maine, Son, Michael(Lisa) Frederick of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Tracey Allen (Jeremiah Patrick) of Grovertown, Indiana, Daughter, Rachel "Becca" Shepherd of Page, Arizona, 4 grandchildren: Conor Allen, Carson Allen, Caitlyn Welsh, Lauren Ross, 1 great-grandchild Liam Welsh, Brother, Jeffrey(Phyllis) Shepherd of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Randy(Karen) Shepherd of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Jennifer(Charles) Wheeler of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Shelly(Larry) Rudd of West Carrollton, Ohio, Sister, Donna(John) Woydziak of Derby, Kansas, Sister, Kelly Cooper of Ostrander, Ohio, Sister, Dawn(Dave) Abrams of Easley, South Carolina, Uncle, Gary Shepherd of Plymouth, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by parents Vernon Shepherd and Helen Shepherd-Chambers, brother Rusty Chambers and infant brother Eddie.
Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Knox Freewill Baptist Church in Knox, Indiana. Braman and Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
Services will be held at Knox Freewill Baptist Church, Friday, November 4, 2022 at 1 PM with Pastor Mark Combs officiating.
Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery.
