Sue Ann Keller, age 84, of Summerville, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, March 25th, 2026. She was born in Plymouth, Indiana to Lester and Emma (Hampton) Hughes. A 1959 graduate of Plymouth High School, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University and a Master's Degree in Microbiology from Notre Dame. She was an honors student throughout her education. She taught microbiology lab to nursing students at Saint Mary's College in Indiana. She was married to Charles F. (Skip) Keller for 58 years and together they worked and travelled extensively overseas. Sue taught middle school science at both Aramco Schools (Saudi Arabia) and the International School of Naples (Italy) as well as Berkeley County Public Schools in South Carolina. In retirement, they lived in Mount Dora, Florida as well as South Carolina. Sue earned certificates in various Bible topics and taught multiple Bible studies. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Gordon and Mary O'Callaghan. She was also blessed with 5 grandchildren, Mauricio (Andrea) and David Gordon, Julia Petrolawicz, Amy (Jared) Wiley and Emma O'Callaghan and a great-grandson, Matias. A memorial service will be held at her church, Old Fort Baptist, in Summerville, South Carolina and internment was in New Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth, Indiana.
