Shirley (White) Gunter

Shirley  Gunter, 80 years old of Hebron, Indiana, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in Valparaiso, Indiana.

She was born Sunday, June 29, 1941 in Salyersville, Kentucky, Daughter of the late John White Sr and the late Hattie(Merdia) White.

November 24, 1960, in Knox, Indiana, Shirley married Gerald Gunter, he preceded her on December 16, 2018.

Shirley was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Roselawn, Indiana.  She enjoyed reading her bible and studying ancestry.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her family, children and grandchildren.

Surviving are Son, Rick(Ronnah) Gunter of Valparaiso, Indiana, Son, Randy Gunter of Duggar, Indiana, Son, Rodney(Rebecca) Gunter of Hebron, Indiana, Daughter, Rhonda Richardson of Hebron, Indiana, 16 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren, Brother, William(Judith) White of Hebron, Indiana, Brother, John White Jr of North Judson, Indiana, Sister, Martha Jane  Guffey of Albany, Kentucky, Sister, Marsha Eneoch of North Judson, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Gunter and  parents John and Hattie White.

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Tuesday, December 21 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 1 PM with Pastor Paul Begley and Pastor Ballard Lewis officiating.

Interment will follow in the Highland  Cemetery.
