Shaun Steve Shepherd, 54 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026 in South Bend, Indiana.

He was born Thursday, September 30, 1971 in Winamac, Indiana, Son of Jim Shepherd and the late Hope(Ritchie) Thomas.

Shawn enjoyed gardening, animals and weight lifting.  His greatest passion was spending time with hid family.

Surviving are Son, Jarrod Shepherd of Culver, Indiana, Father, Jim Shepherd of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Jim  Shepherd Jr of Culver, Indiana, Step-brother, Josh Linhart of Culver, Indiana, Companion, Amy Hajek of Knox, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by mother Hope Thomas.

Friends will be received 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Saturday, February 28 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St Jude's Hospital for Children.
