Sharon M. Kornas

Sharon M. Kornas, 74 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 in Laporte, Indiana.

She was born Wednesday, August 30, 1950 in Hammond, Indiana, Daughter of the late Raymond Kornas and the late Sophie(Sapyta) Kornas.

Sharon was always a happy person and loved to go to the circus.  She attended Marshall Starke Development Center and Pathfinder services.  She had a cat named mr. Binkley that she adored.  Her housemates, pathfinder services and her guardian were her family.  She was a follower of God and enjoyed the prayer and guidance provided by Rev. Bruce Bennett.

Surviving are Guardian, Melissa Speilman of Goshen, Indiana, Brother, Tim Kornas, Brother, Larry Kornas, Brother, Steve Kornas.

She was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Sophie Kornas and sister Marsha.

No services to be held at this time, Braman and Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
