Sandra Lee Smith

Sandra Lee Smith, 81 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away surrounded by her loving family,  Wednesday, June 29, 2022.

She was born Wednesday, August 7, 1940 in Los Angles, California, Daughter of the late Walter Straube and the late Stephanie(Desulis) Straube.

June 17, 1983 in Georgia, Sandra married Earl Smith, he survives her.

Sandra enjoyed attending several churches in the area. She enjoyed playing the piano, putting together jigsaw puzzles and watching movies.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She worked as a Purchaser  for Thermal Products .

Surviving are Husband, Earl Smith of Knox, Indiana, Son, Jeff(Lori) Abrams of North Judson, Indiana, Son, David(Virginia) Abrams of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Chris(Kristy) Smith of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Tammy(Fred) Hartman of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Lisa(Matt) Gundlach of North Judson, Indiana, 14 grandchildren 9 great- grandchildren, Brother, Walter(Connie) Straube of Dekalb Co., Illinois.

She was preceded in death by son Lance Abrams, parents Walter and Stephanie Straube.

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 12 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 12 PM with Rev. Fred Niedner officiating.

Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox, IN  46534.
