Samuel J Bailey

Samuel J Bailey, 80 years old of Monterey, Indiana, died Friday, March 19, 2021 in South Bend, Indiana.

He was born Monday, January 20, 1941 in Knox, Indiana, Son of the late Samuel Bailey Sr and the late Olive (Locke) Bailey.

Sam was a member of the St James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Logansport, Indiana and was on the North Bend Township Advisory Board. Sam enjoyed living in the country and farming. His greatest passion was spending time with his family.

He worked as a farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Bailey of Monterey, Indiana, Son, Tom Bailey of Argos, Indiana, Son, Todd Bailey of Argos, Indiana, Son, Anthony Bailey of Orlando, Florida, Son, Brian Steinke of Bremen, Indiana, 9 grandchildren 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by daughter Christine Stuff, parents Samuel and Olive Bailey, sisters Betty Woods and Evelyn Ahlenius.

Graveside services to be held Friday May 21, 2021 at 10 AM CST  or 11 AM EST at Bass Lake Cemetery, Braman and Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.  Services will be live on Braman and Bailey Facebok page at the time of service.

Interment will follow in the Bass Lake Cemetery.
