Ronnie Dean Back

Ronnie Dean Back, age 81, of Knox, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at his home. The son of the late Glaster and the late Lula (Miller) Back, he was born on November 20, 1942, in Tiptop, KY.

On March 27, 1963, Ronnie married Linda Jensen, who preceded him in death on May 10, 2004.

Living in Knox most of his life, Ronnie worked as a machinist at Modine Manufacturing in La Porte. He was a member of Knox American Legion Post #131. He loved paying honor to the veterans of Starke County. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. 

Ronnie is survived by two sons, Tom (Connie) Back, of Mount Juliet, TN, and Jeff (Rachelle) Back, of North Judson, IN, five grandchildren, and one great-grandson. 

In addition to his parents and wife, Ronnie was preceded by his sister, Carol Siddal.

Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date.
