Ronald Ray Whitaker

Ronald  Ray Whitaker, 62 years old of Noblesville, Indiana, formally of Knox, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 after a valiant fight with cancer.

He was born Friday, August 2, 1963 in Montpelier, Ohio, Son of the late Henry Whitaker and the late Loretta (Marshall) Whitaker.

Ronnie drove truck for Fourty-two years, which he truly enjoyed.  He also enjoyed horses, riding, camping, cookouts and all family gatherings.  He did not know a stranger, was always willing to help in any way possible and always tried to put a smile on everyone's face.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Surviving are Son, Adam Risner of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Courtney(Tom Sobieck) Whitaker of Valparaiso, Indiana, 3 grandchildren: Patience Risner and Damian Risner of Knox, Indiana and Lilliana Sobieck of Valparaiso, Indiana,  Sister, Glenna(Dave) Fitzgerald of Noblesville, Indiana, Brother, Jay(Vicki) Whitaker of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Rocky Whitaker of Plymouth, Indiana, along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by parents Henry and Loretta Whitaker, sister Loretta Sue Whitaker, grandparents Taylor Marshall,  Mary Marshall, Lavatis Minix and Lewis Whitaker. 

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM CST, Thursday, September 18, 2025  at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11 AM CST with  Pastor Ted Dilts officiating.

Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
