Robert S. Sobieraj

Robert S. Sobieraj, 73 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 in North Judson, Indiana.

He was born Friday, April 13, 1951 in Buffalo, New York, Son of the late Alexander Sobieraj and the late Elma(Frears) Sobieraj.

October 6, 1977, In Knox, Indiana, Robert married Janelle Baert, she survives him. 

Robert was a Vietnam Veteran.

Robert was a member of the Knox VFW and the Wanatah American Legion.  He enjoyed fishing, working in his yard and on his trucks.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a truck driver.

Surviving are  his Wife, Janelle Sobieraj of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Andrea(Scott) Hager of Andover, Minnesota, Daughter, Laura(Adam) Lovely of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Rachel Sobieraj of Greenfield, Indiana, 3 grandchildren, Brother, James Sobieraj of Winterville, North Carolina, Sister, Margaret Sobieraj of Corfu, New York.

He was preceded in death by parents Alexander and Elma Sobieraj.

Graveside and Military Service at Eagle Creek Cemetery January 3, 2025 at 2 PM, Braman & Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be held at Eagle Creek Cemetery, Friday, January 3, 2025 at 2 PM.

Interment will follow in the Eagle Creek Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
