Robert "Buster" Nies, 67 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Michigan City.
He was born Tuesday, October 25, 1955 in Gary, Indiana, Son of the late Robert Nies and the late Betty(Elea) Nies.
Buster enjoyed playing guitars, making music and fixing guitars. In his past time he enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and friends.
He worked as a truck driver.
Surviving are Brother, Jake Nies of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Barbara(Jack) Bailey of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Carolyn Miller of Knox, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by parents Robert and Betty Nies and brothers Joey and Michael Nies.
