Robert E. Allen, 71 years old of Knox,, Indiana, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026 in Knox, Indiana.

He was born Saturday, June 5, 1954 in Florence, Alabama, Son of the late Joe E Allen and the late Marilyn(Miller) Allen.

December 4, 1975, in Chicago, Illinois, Robert married the former Cathleen Pfeifer, she survives him.

Robert enjoyed hunting and fishing.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a Auto mechanic.

Surviving are  his Wife, Cathleen Allen of Knox, Indiana, Son, Robert Allen of Argos, Indiana, Son, Daniel Allen of Hammond, Indiana, Son, Jim(Crystal) Allen of Hammond, Indiana, Daughter, Nancy(Anthony) Micheli of Menifee, California, Daughter, Kimberly Allen of Knox, Indiana, 10 grandchildren, Brother, Donald Allen of Waterloo, Alabama.

He was preceded in death by parents Joe and Marilyn Allen, brothers Joe and Ed Allen and sisters Bertha Pfeifer and Pamela Miley.

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM, Thursday, February 19, 2026  at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11 AM.

Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
