Richard Allen Franks, Sr., 68 years old of Knox, IN, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Porter Memorial Hospital.

He was born Wednesday, October 22, 1952 in Wayne, OH, Son of the late Virgil Franks and the late Lois Anne (Bateson) Franks.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, enjoyed gardening, and spending precious time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a Truck Driver.

Surviving are  his wife, Cheryl Hollman of Knox, IN, Son, Richard (Danielle) A Franks, Jr. of Knox, IN, Son, Christopher Franks of Knox, IN, Daughter, Ashley L Franks of Plymouth, IN, Brother, Robert (Robin) Vore of Pemberville, OH, Brother, William (Sharon) Vore of Tantagony, OH, Brother, Tony (Alta) Franks of Columbus, OH, Sister, Lori (Kevin) Vore Nicely of Neapolis, OH, and 3 Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Christina Franks.

Friends will be received 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM CST, Sunday, October 24 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, at 2:00 PM CST with Pastor Brian Kenner officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oak Park Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
