Raymond L Hallowry, 88 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022 in Knox, Indiana.
He was born Friday, March 16, 1934 in Terre Haute, Indiana, Son of the late William Hallowry and the late Elizabeth(Erwin) Swartz.
Raymond enjoyed deep sea fishing and collecting stationary gas engines. He was a member of the Indiana Fly Wheelers and the Florida Fly Wheelers. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
February 28, 1953, in Knox, Indiana, Raymond married the former Roseltha Hatter, she survives him.
Raymond was a "Jack of all trades"- skilled and licensed in all facets of engineering.
Surviving are Wife, Roseltha Hallowry of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Evelyn Klayman of Okeechobee, Florida, Grandchild, Alexander Klayman of Miami Beach, Florida, Grandchild, Madeline Klayman of Chicago, Illinois, Brother, Joe(Linda) Aquino of Grovertown, Indiana, Brother, David(Mary) Aquino of Hamlet, Indiana, Brother, Paul(Elaine) Aquino of Michigan City, Indiana, Brother, Thomas(Reba) Aquino,of Kansas, Brother, Eddy(Mary) Aquino, of Pennsylvania, Sister, JoAnne Patrick of Lacrosse, Indiana, Sister, Betty Sue(Gene) Flynn of Koontz Lake , Indiana and surrounded with several life long friends.
He was preceded in death by his son Glen Hallowry, parents William Hallowry and Elizabeth Swartz, brother Richard Aquino and sisters Barbara Walters and Louise Pike.
No services to be held, Braman and Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Association.
