Ray "Bill" Tolson

Ray "Bill" Tolson passed away peacefully on August 5, 2023 in Laporte, Indiana, at the age of 88.  Bill was born November 28, 1934 in Winchester, Kentucky.  

Bill is survived by his spouse, Betty;  children Rick Tolson of Nicholasville, Kentucky and Barry Tolson of Indiananpolis, Indiana and brother Homer Tolson of Bryan, Texas.  He was preceded in death by Dora Tolson-Lindwall of Laporte, Indiana, Shirley Park of North Judson, Indiana, Sara May of North Judson, Indiana, Emma Lou Joseph of Crown Point, Indiana and Helen Lieding of  McLean, Virginia.  

Bill was a dedicated, kind and loving grandparent to his 2 granddaughters and his five great grandchildren.  An avid outdoorsman, Bill enjoyed flying, skydiving, scuba diving, boating, hunting, fishing and driving his Jaguar XK-8.  Bill was also a U.S. Army veteran, a retiree of Ford Motor Company, a member of the Knox Masonic Lodge number 639, a Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner.

Bill's celebration of is life is scheduled for Tuesday, August  8, 2023, with visitation from 1 PM till time of Masonic service at 2 PM.  Burial will occur at Highland Cemetery in North Judson, Indiana.  Braman and Bailey Funeral Home of North Judson is in charge of  arrangements. 

Memorials may be to Shriners Hospital for Children.
