Randy "Hooter" Lee Gibson

Randy "Hooter" Lee Gibson, 71 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 in Knox, Indiana.

He was born Sunday, August 22, 1954 in Gary, Indiana, Son of the late Shelby Gibson and Bonnie(Buhr) Gibson.

Randy was a member of the Fish Lake Bass Masters club.  He enjoyed fishing and traveling.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a utility worker  for Nipsco and was a US Army Veteran.

Surviving are  his  Wife, Sue Ellen Gibson of Knox, Indiana, Son, Matthew(Toni) Gibson of South Bend, Indiana, Son, Kyle(Alonso) Rey of South Bend, Indiana, Son, Shelby(Aleshia) Gibson of Winamac, Indiana,  7 grandchildren, Brother, Edward(Charlotte) Bundy,of California, Brother, Russell Gibson of San Antonio, Texas, Sister, Barbara(Kirk) Lewis of Tarpon Springs, Florida, Sister, Shannon(Rick) Evans of Hanna, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by father Shelby Gibson.

No services to be held,  Braman and Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
