Randy Dale Shepherd, 70 years old of Knox, Indiana, went to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ Sunday, November 19, 2023, with his loving family by his side.
He was born Wednesday, June 17, 1953 in Knox, Indiana, Son of the late Vernon Miller and the late Helen(Smith) Shepherd-Chambers.
Randy was the owner of Randy's service station- "service with a smile". He was a devote Christian and loved the Lord. Randy was always a jokester and a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed his cats and dogs. Randy's greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren..
August 24, 1970 in Wise, Virginia, Randy married Karen Miller, the love of his life for the last 53 years.
Surviving are Wife, Karen Shepherd of Knox, Indiana, Son, Randy(Jennifer) Shepherd of Odell, Illinois, Son, Dale Wayne(Caron) Shepherd of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Tara(Mark) Hoover of Knox, Indiana, 18 grandchildren 19 great- grandchildren 1 great-great grandchild, Brother, Jeffrey(Phyllis) Shepherd of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Jennifer Wheeler of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Shelly(Larry) Rudd of West Carrollton, Ohio, Sister, Donna Woydziak of Derby, Kansas, Sister, Kelly Cooper of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Dawn(Dave) Abrams of Easley, South Carolina, Sister-in-law, Wanda Shepherd of Knox, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon Shepherd and Helen Shepherd- Chambers, brothers Timothy and Eddie Shepherd and brother Rusty Chambers, and brother-in-laws Chuck Wheeler, John Woydziak and Jerry Cooper.
Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 2 PM, Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.
