Rachel Rana (Salyers) Allen

Rachel Rana Allen, 45 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 in LaPorte, Indiana.

She was born Tuesday, September 28, 1976 in LaPorte, Indiana, Daughter of Jerry Salyers and Janice(Clemons) Salyers.

Rachel enjoyed working at the Knox High School Cafeteria.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and children and especially her dachshund "Red".

December 27, 1997, in Knox, Indiana, Rachel married Adam Allen, he survives her.

Surviving are  her husband, Adam Allen of Knox, Indiana, Son, Walter  Allen of Knox, Indiana, Son, William Allen of Knox, Indiana, Mother and Father, Janice and Jerry  Salyers of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Amie(Keith) White of Knox, Indiana, Nephew, Logan White of Knox, Indiana, Grandmother, Justine Salyers of Knox, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by grandfathers Claude Salyers Jr, Loss Clemons and grandmother Dolores Clemons and mother-in-law Joan Allen.

Friends will be received 11 AM till time of services at 1 PM, Thursday, January 13 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Thursday, January 13, 2022 at  1 PM with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers , memorials may be made to the family.
