Paul Rudy Esparza

Paul Rudy Esparza, 86 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026 in Laporte, Indiana.

He was born Friday, March 29, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois, Son of the late Rudolph Esparza and the late Antoinnette(Soto) Esparza.

Paul was a member of the Cook County Sheriff's Department and the Proviso Twp.  He loved being withhis family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He will be truly missed by his family.  Amanda lovingly cared for her grandfather, Paul with unwavering devotion and compassion, remaining faithfully by his side and providing comfort, dignity and love until his final breath.

He worked doing Home Improvement.

Surviving are Son, Rudy Esparza of South Bend, Indiana, Son, Anthony Esparza, Ohio, Daughter, Jennie Luciano of Joliet, Illinois, Daughter, Cynthia(Manual) Cardenas of Cicero, Illinois, Daughter, Dorothy(Keith) Saeuberlich of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Suzette(Ernie) Marie Garza of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Dawn(Oracio) Urbina of Spring Grove , Illinois, Daughter, Lisa Escalante of Homer Glen, Illinois, 38 grandchildren many great-grandchildren many great-great grandchildren, Sister, Cookie Mojica of Chicago, Illinois, Sister, Antoinnette Garza of Chicago, Illinois, Sister, Michelle(Jamie) Arevalos of Bellwood, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his wife Christina Esparza, son Paul Anthony Esparza and daughter Tammy Lynn Butler and parents Rudolph and Antoinnette Esparza.

Friends will be received 2 PM to 5 PM CST  , Friday, June 19, 2026  at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at St Michael Catholic Church, Friday, June 19, 2026 at 12 PM CST with  Father Ferando Jimenez officiating.
