Paul Michael Dreesen

Paul Michael Dreesen, 84 years old of North Judson, Indiana, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 in LaPorte, Indiana.

He was born Sunday, June 27, 1937 in Hammond, Indiana, Son of the late Edison Carl Dreesen and the late Mercedes Anne(Parker) Dreesen.

November 23, 2005 in Long Beach, California, Paul married Margaret Myslinsky on the Queen Mary II, she survives him.

Paul was a member of the North Judson American Legion Post # 92 and the Whiting Elks club.  He enjoyed collecting rare whiskey and cigars.  He had an immense passion for raising special need cats (14, he called his children) and building houses for the outside feral cats..  Paul was an avid aviation enthusiast, private pilot, and a member of the Porter County Pilots Association. He was proud of his service in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer.

He worked as a machinist for the steel companies for many years,

Surviving are his wife, Margaret (Myslinsky) Dreesen of North Judson, Indiana. 

He was preceded in death by parents Edison and Mercedes Dreesen, brother David Dreesen, and daughter, Deanna Lynn Dreesen. Paul leaves behind three children and numerous grandchildren; other relatives and his good friends- the "battle buddies" at Post 92.

Services to be held at a later date at the North Judson American Legion Post #92.
