Orlean Janasz, 94 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in Knox, Indiana.
She was born Tuesday, September 27, 1927 in Alger, Ohio, Daughter of the late Ernie Risner and the late Nora(Stacy) Risner.
June 1, 1968 in Oak Park, Illinois she married Florian Janasz, he survives her.
Orlean was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and was a teachers assistant at Little Lambs preschool for 13 years. In her pastime she enjoyed gardening. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She worked as a inspector for White Cap in Chicago, Illinois for 31 years before her retirement.
Surviving are Husband, Florian Janasz of Knox, Indiana, Son, Robert Wisilinski of Knox, Indiana, 1 grandchild, Debbie Romandine, 6 loving great-grandchildren: Vince, Kristina, Cory, Krystal, Anthony and Jackson. 5 great-great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews, that she loved a lot.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Linda Smith, parents Ernie and Nora Risner, 5 sisters Ettazene Clemons, Geraldine Krulik, Maudie Palm, Cassie Shepard, Maxine Kasinger, 2 brothers Arnold"Buck" Risner and Bill Risner.
Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM, Monday, January 10 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.
Services will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11 AM with Rev. Eric Gawura officiating with visitation 1 hour prior.
Interment will follow in the Oak Park Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
