Myrtle Gabbard, 75 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021 in Knox, Indiana.
She was born Tuesday, June 4, 1946 in Elkatawa, Kentucky, Daughter of the late Wilson Gabbard and the late Genvia(McIntosh) Gabbard.
Myrtle was a member of the Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts and decorating. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and enjoyed decorating for the Holiday. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family, children and grandchildren.
Surviving are Daughter, Bessie Givens of Knox, Indiana, 8 grandchildren 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, Brother, Roger Gabbard of Beattyville, Kentucky, Sister, Helen Fike of Erie, Pennsylvania, Sister, Debra(Larry) McCullough of Knox, Indiana, Special niece, Tonya McCullough of Knox, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by parents Wilson and Genvia Gabbard, son Darrell Gabbard, brother Fernard Gabbard, sister Mary Gabbard Farris and son in law Jack Givens.
Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.
Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 1 PM.
Interment will follow in the Oak Park Cemetery.
