Melovee Howard

Melovee  Howard, 81 years old of Winamac, Indiana, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, January 7, 2026 in Valparaiso, Indiana.

She was born Saturday, June 10, 1944 in Jackson, Kentucky, Daughter of the late Fallen Manns and the late Eva (Minix) Manns.

Melovee was a member of the Aldine Baptist Church.  She loved watching games shows and her dogs,  Tyson and Marlee.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

She worked for the former Singers Corporation in Winamac, Indiana now currently Eaton Corporation for 35 years.

Surviving are Son, Scott Howard of Winamac, Indiana, Son, Rick Howard of Winamac, Indiana, Daughter, Sherry Miller of North Judson, Indiana, 13 grandchildren  and 26 great-grandchildren, Sister, Louise Sanchez of North Judson, Indiana, Sister, Jewell Prater of North Judson, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn Sue Standifer, brother Bill Manns, sisters Jean Clemons and Wilma Reinhardt and parents Fallen and Eva Manns.

Friends will be received 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM at the Free United Baptist Church, Tuesday, January 13, 2026  at the Free United Baptist Church, Braman & Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be held at Free United Baptist Church, Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 1 PM with Rev. Randy Campbell and  Rev. Eddie Trusty officiating.

Interment will follow in the Denham Cemetery, Denham Indiana.
