Mazel McCarty

Mazel  McCarty, 71 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 in Knox, Indiana.

She was born Monday, October 22, 1951 in Knox, Indiana, Daughter of the late Andrew Wagers and the late Ellen(Fugate) Wagers.

Mazel was a member of the Holiness Church of God in Knox, Indiana.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening and singing.  Mazel's greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are  her Husband, Johnie McCarty Jr of Knox, Indiana, Son, Andrew(Amber) McCarty of Knox, Indiana, Son, Johnnie((Angel) McCarty of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Marcie(Daniel) Cole of Knox, Indiana, 15 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren, Brother, Taylor Wagers of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Edward(Sue) James Wagers of Charlestown, Indiana, Sister, Malvanie Clemons of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Una Faye(Mike) Brantley of Knox, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by parents Andrew and Ellen Wagers.

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11 AM.

Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.
