Marilyn Sue Hewlett

Marilyn "Sue"  Hewlett, 90 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in Knox, Indiana.

She was born Tuesday, August 21, 1934 in Kewanna, Indiana, Daughter of the late Cecil Rhody and the late Benaldine(Lawhead) Rhody.

Sue was a member of Eagle Creek Church, Knox Tri Kappa and former Girl Scout Leader.  She enjoyed sewing and bowling.  Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She worked as a Food Manager  for Starke Co. Council on Aging.

Surviving are Daughter, Kyle Satterfield of Knox, Indiana, Son, Sean(Nicole) Hewlett of Crown Point, Indiana, 4 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren 1 great-great-grandchild, Sister, Jane Stahl of Wolcottville, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by parents Cecil and Benaldine Rhody, son, Gregory Hewlett, brothers Dick, Don, Bill and Jerry Rhody and sister Ruth Eileen Tsetse.

Friends will be received 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Saturday, February 1 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 1 PM with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox, IN  46534.
