Lucy Lea (Bailey) Smith

Lucy Lea Smith, 81 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, April 21, 2021 in Knox, Indiana.

She was born Sunday, December 3, 1939 in Knox, Indiana, Daughter of the late Toney Bailey and the late Iris (Mullins) Bailey.

Lucy loved to sing and play her guitar. She made a music CD with her band mates the Monday Night Pickers. Lucy's greatest passion was spending time with her friends, family and grandchildren.

She worked as a retail clerk for Toto Curtain Store.

Surviving are Companion Daniel Cole, Daughter, Ora Lea(Herb) Maciejack of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Evelyn Marie Smith of Culver, Indiana, Daughter, Rosa Lynn(Alfred) Smith of Chicago, Illinois, Daughter-in-Law, Barbara Smith of North Judson, Indiana, 8 grandchildren 22 great- grandchildren, Brother, Raymond(Eileen) Bailey of Lake Havasu, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Smith Sr and parents Toney and Iris Bailey, sons Charles and Clyde Smith Jr., daughter Diana Lee Smith, brother Alford Bailey and sisters Deloris"Bo" Barnett and Rosa Mae Bailey.

Graveside service at Oak Park Cemetery, Friday, April 23, at 1 PM, Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be held at Oak Park Cemetery, Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1 PM.

Interment will follow in the Oak Park Cemetery.
