Loyd Kenneth VanAsdall, 92 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Indiana Veterans Home in Lafayette, Indiana.
He was born Saturday, September 8, 1928 in Knox, In, Son of the late Worthy VanAsdall and the late Ada (Utterback) VanAsdall.
Ken was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Knox American Legion and the Knox VFW. He also was a member of the Knox Masonic Lodge #639. He was on the Knox mens bowling league and enjoyed fishing, farming and loved spending time with his family.
He worked as a Inspector for Indiana General .
Surviving are Son, Jeffery VanAsdall of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Michelle (Randy) Smith of Allen, Texas, 4 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grand Children, Step-Daughter Cheryl(Gary) Feece of Winamac, Indiana.
He was preceded in death his parents Worthy and Ada, 4 Brothers Worthy Jr, Vernon, Willard and Infant Keith, sister Evelyn Skorup, June Swanson, Betty Stubbs, Shirley Boyle, Darlene Smith, Joy Skibby and Jo Ann Stalbaum and Life Partner Sharon Dymond.
Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 2 PM, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana with a 1:45 PM Masonic Service.
Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 2 PM with Charlie Hasnerl officiating.
Interment will follow in the Eagle Creek Cemetery in Knox, Indiana with a Miltary Graveside service.
