Larry G. Mullins, age 60, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. He was a lifelong resident of Knox, IN, and a 1978 Knox High School graduate. 

He was happiest the minute he crossed the Yellow River and knew he was back home.

He was the son of Lester and Glenna Mullins, both deceased, brother of Vickie (Michael) Schacht of Valparaiso, IN, and Steve Mullins, Westfield, IN., and Les Mullins, deceased.

The loves of his life were his daughters and grandchildren: Lindsay (James Bo) Boyd and Amanda (Gordan Trae) Scheib. Grandfather of three: Xavier Bo Boyd, Isabella Bo Boyd and Gemma Irene Scheib.

Coaching was his life! He was involved with the Knox Redskins Athletic program for over 30 years. In recent years, as his health deteriorated, he served as a volunteer.

On Friday, April 16, 2021, commencing at 10:00 a.m., CST, until 2:00 p.m., friends will be received at Calvary Baptist Church, Hwy 10, Knox, IN. 

Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Brian Pinson officiating.

Immediately following the service, a procession that will pass his beloved Knox football field  will conclude with graveside services at Crownhill Cemetery. 

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Knox High School Less Mullins MVP Award or the Knox Community Schools Football program.
