Kevin Wayne Kroft

Kevin Wayne Kroft, 58 years old of North Judson, Indiana, died Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in  Laporte, Indiana.

He was born Wednesday, October 9, 1963 in Hammond, Indiana, Son of the late Harold Kroft and the late Joyce(Blum) Kroft.

June 12, 1982 in North Judson, Indiana, Kevin married Kris Mareska, she survives him.

He worked as a dispatcher   for Knox Community Schools.

Kevin had a passion for politics and serving his country and community.  He was a proud Republican and Donald Trump supporter.  He served his country for 4 years in the US Navy.  He spent 12 years as a proud voice for the taxpayers of Starke County as county Commissioner.  He never shied away from the major issues and loved fighting for the everyday residents of Starke County.

Kevin loved spending time with his family, especially the grandkids who adored him.  He is preceded in death by his father Harold and mother Joyce.

Surviving are  his Wife, Kris Kroft of North Judson, Indiana, Son, Matthew(Reghan) Kroft of Knox, Indiana, Son, Nathan Kroft of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Erin(R.J.) Duff of Knox, Indiana, 7 grandchildren: Cameron, Caylee, Cody Duff, Lily, Lacy and Olivia"Livy" Kroft and Silas Hert, Brother, Leslie"Bub"(Kim) Kroft of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Karen(Randy) Mareska of North Judson, Indiana, Honoray sister, Cindy(Ron) Yike of Logansport, Indiana and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Monday, July 18, 2022  at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Monday, July 18, 2022 at 1 PM with Rev Ted Dilts officiating.
