Johnny Ray White

Johnny Ray White, 53 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 in Grovertown, Indiana.

He was born Monday, March 24, 1969 in Knox, Indiana, Son of John White Jr and the late Betty(Bradley) White.

April 7, 2012 in Knox, Indiana, Johnny married Dawn Matzat, she survives him.

Johnny was a member of the Laborer Local 8 in Valparaiso, Indiana.  He enjoyed camping, going to the casino and cruises.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and children.

He worked as a Project supervisor  for Tronco .

Surviving are Wife, Dawn  White of Knox, Indiana, Son, John(Lauren) Edward White of Koontz Lake, Indiana, Daughter, Jessica(Tony) Murray of Koontz Lake, Indiana, Daughter, Abigail(Bryce)  Burns of Knox, Indiana, 1 grandchild on the way, Father, John  White Jr of North Judson, Indiana, Brother, Bradley(Kellie)  White of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, Sister, Rochelle(Daniel) Punt of LaPorte, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Karen Clark White and mother Betty White.

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM, Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 11 AM with Rev. Eric Gawura officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
