John White, Jr.

John White, Jr., age 73, of North Judson passed away on Saturday, June 17th at Briarcliff Nursing Home in South Bend, Indiana. John was born on September 13, 1949, in La Porte, Indiana, to the late John White, Sr. and Hattie Merdia White.

On June 5, 1968, in Knox, Indiana, John was married to Betty Bradley, who preceded him in death.

He was retired steelworker from U.S. Steel. John loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed dining out.

Survivors include a son, Bradley (Kellie) White, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, a daughter, Rochelle (Daniel) Punt, of La Porte, Indiana, a brother, Bill (Judy) White, of Hebron, Indiana, two sisters, Jane Guffey, of Albany, Kentucky, and Marcia Enochs, of North Judson, Indiana. John has 8 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, John was preceded in death by his son, Johnny White, and sister, Shirley Gunter.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 22 from 4 to 8 p.m.at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel in Knox. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 23 at 11 a.m. at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel. Rev. Bruce Bennett will officiate.

Burial will follow at Round Lake Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
