John Michael Majchrzak

John Michael Majchrzak, 81 years old of Grovertown, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his home Monday, May 8, 2023.  He was surrounded by his family that loved him immeasurably. 

He was born Thursday, September 18, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois, Son of  Joseph Majchrzak and Emily(Zornowski) Majchrzak.

John was a hard working resilient man.  John comes from a proud family of farmers.  In 1983 him and his wife planted their roots in Grovertown, Indiana.  Starting their legacy family farm, starting with pigs and later transitioning into a horse farm to this day.  John courageously served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam war.  John was a loving son and brother growing up, being exceptionally close to his mother and sister.  Most importantly he was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  He will always be known for being supportive to his family as they carried out their dreams.  He was always ornery to his loving wife but still showed that he loved and cared for her.  He is already dearly missed, but will be remembered for sitting on his porch watching birds, kids playing and the horses pass by in his blaze orange ball caps.

Surviving are his Life Companion, Gloria Jean Majchrzak of Grovertown, Indiana, Daughter, Kathy(Mike) Wolfe of Marion, Indiana, Daughter, Lynnette Finnegan of Culver, Indiana, 10  grandchildren: Johnathon(Tiffany) Abair of Kokomo, Indiana, Tabitha(James) Riffey of Grovertown, Indiana, Richie Wolfe of Missouri, Leigha(Jack) Gandy of Indonesia, Timothy(Maria) Wolfe of Colorado, Thomas(Mariah) Wolfe of Marion, Indiana,  Katelyn(C.J.) Ramsbey of Tennessee, Joseph(Anna) Wolfe of Marion, Indiana, Marcella Wolfe of Marion, Indiana, 16 great grandchildren, many  nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents Jospeh and Emily Majchrzak, grand-daughter Jessica Salyer, sister Rose Majchrzak and brothers William, Joseph and Michael Majchrzak.

No services to be held at this time, Braman and Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
