He was born Tuesday, January 19, 1960 in Hinsdale, Illinois, Son of the late Harry Kimmel and the late Grace(VanGundy) Kimmel.

January 3, 2004, in Knox, Indiana, John married the former Karla Budka, she survives him.

John was a member of the Soul Harbors Church. He enjoyed racing motor cross and riding his Indian Motorcycle. John's greatest passion was spending time with his dog Bella, his wife Karla and the rest of his family.

He worked for the Starke Co. Co-Op .

Surviving are his wife, Karla Kimmel of Culver, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by parents Harry and Grace Kimmel.

Private family services to be held at a later date, Braman and Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
