Joan G Norem, 87 years old of San Pierre, Indiana, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 in La Porte, Indiana.

She was born Wednesday, May 2, 1934 in North Judson, Indiana, Daughter of the late Frank Myers and the late Hazel(Nichols) Myers.

Joan enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband Clarence and volunteering at St Vincent DePaul in South Bend. Her greatest passion was spending time with her family and friends.

She worked as a Phone operator for AT&T .

Surviving are Son, Clarence Norem Jr of Midland , Michigan, Daughter, Darlene Norem-Smith of St Louis, Missouri, 3 grandchildren, Brother, Howard Myers of Ogdon, Utah, Sister, Janet Ackenhusen of San Pierre, Indiana, Sister, Harriet Kajer of North Judson, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence H Norem and parents Frank and Hazel Myers, brothers Frank Myers Jr and Art Myers and sister Julia Rodenbeck.

Private family service to be held at a later date

Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery.
