Joan L Havlin

Joan  L Havlin, 88 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 in Valparaiso, Indiana.

She was born Tuesday, April 3, 1934 in Warsaw, Indiana, Daughter of the late Delmar Evans and the late Wanda(Tompkins) Evans.

Joan enjoyed watching wrestling on TV and playing poker.  Her greatest passion beside her beloved dog Josey, was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are Son, Karl Havlin of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Karen(Justin Miller) Lockhart of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Kamela(Robert) Luwpas of Portage, Indiana, 7 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine Havlin and  son Kim Havlin,  parents Delmar and Wanda Evans, brothers: Sammy, Earl and Larry Evans and sisters: Juanita Osbun and Mary Young.

Friends will be received 11 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Saturday, September 24  at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 1 PM with Pastor Danny Oliver officiating.
