Jerome "Jerry" Marvin Weinberg, 73 years old of North Judson, Indiana,  passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born Tuesday, April 10, 1951 in Laporte, Indiana, Son of the late Joseph Weinberg and the late Carmella(Calbrese) Scott.

Jerry was a member of the North Judson American Legion.  He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Chicago Cubs.  He enjoyed playing pool and cards with his friends.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a salesman for Weinberg Stores and Joey's Wallpaper.

Surviving are Daughter, Michelle(Jason) Downs of Knox, Indiana, Son, Jay(Kelly Carey) Weinberg of Laporte, Indiana, Son, David(Wila) Weinberg of Chicago, Illinois, 2 grandchildren Morgan and Justin Downs, Brother, Jay (Pam) Callahan of North Judson, Indiana, Sister Jeanine(Rick) Boylan of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Brother, William "Billy" David Weinberg of North Judson, Indiana, Sister, Rebecca(Robert) Leffert of Grovertown, Indiana, Sister, Elizabeth(Victor) Duke of Bourbon, Indiana, Sister, Debra(Doug) Hackman of Bloomington, Indiana, Step-mother Dereatha Weinberg of North Judson, Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jospeh Weinberg and Carmella Scott, sister Linda Sue Ono and brother Joseph "Danny" Weinberg.

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM, Friday, August 30, 2024 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11 AM with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
