Jason Lee  Risner, 43 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away, Wednesday, June 4, 2025 in Valparaiso, Indiana.

He was born Monday, October 19, 1981 in Laporte, Indiana, Son of  Rita(Risner) Pier.

January 6, 2023 in Knox, Indiana, Jason married Katherine Sons, she survives him.

Jason enjoyed reading, fishing and hunting.  He loved the Buffalo Bills.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family, children and grandchildren.

Surviving are  his Wife, Katherine Risner of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Mallory Risner of Knox, Indiana, Daughter, Brittney Danekas of North Judson, Indiana, Daughter, Brooklyn Danekas of Peru, Indiana, 5 grandchildren, Mother Rita Risner of Knox, Indiana, Sister, Kayla Risner of North Judson, Indiana, Niece, Harper  Wagnor of Knox, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Willie and Velva Jean Risner, Aunt  Mary, Uncle Willis and cousins Kim, Christopher and Bobby.

Friends will be received 4 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, June 11 at the Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, North Judson, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Bailey Funeral Home, Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 1 PM.

Interment will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.
