James "Jim" M Jensen

James "Jim" M Jensen, 73 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, Friday, October 1, 2021 in Laporte, Indiana.

He was born Wednesday, August 25, 1948 in Winamac, Indiana, Son of the late August Jensen and the late Estella (Kwiatkowski) Jensen.

September 16, 1977, in Knox, Indiana, Jim married the former Shirley McCutcheon, she preceded him on July 28, 2019.

Jim enjoyed tractor pulling and farming. His greatest passion was spending time with his grandchildren and family.

He worked as a farmer.

Surviving are Son, Les(Amy) Jensen of Knox, Indiana, Son, James(Theresa) Jensen of Hinesville, Georgia, Daughter, Penny(Ikram) Khan of Fenton, Michigan, Daughter, Laura Jensen of Knox, Indiana, 15 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren, Brother, Marvin(Brenda) Jensen of Knox, Indiana, Brother, Marlin(JoAnn) Jensen of Argos, Indiana, Sister, Jeannie(John) Carlton of Plymouth, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley(McCutcheon) Jensen, son Charles Jensen, parents August and Estella Jensen, grandchildren Himatullah and Noor Fatima Khan and brother Richard Jensen.

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Friday, October 8, 2021 at 1 PM with Rev. Rick Martin officiating.

Interment will follow in the Oak Park Cemetery.
