James "Jim" R Dedloff

James R Dedloff, 82 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in Knox, Indiana.

He was born Thursday, September 15, 1938 in Knox, Indiana, Son of the late Anthony Dedloff and the late Lorma Folkers(Dedloff).

April 23, 1960 in Knox, Indiana, Jim married the former Patricia Rodgers, she preceded him on August 12, 2010.

Jim was a member of the Knox Moose Lodge and the former Knox Jaycees. He was a former deputy of the Starke County Sheriffs Department. He was also a former member of the Starke County Republican Central Committee.

He worked as a Farmer.

Surviving are Son, J.R. (Tracy) Dedloff of Knox, Indiana, Son, Scot(Kathy) Dedloff of Knox, Indiana, 5 grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren, Brother, Jessie Dedloff of Valparaiso, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Dedloff, parents Anthony and Lorma Dedloff and sister Arline Howard and brothers Bill and Jerry Dedloff.

Friends will be received 12:30 PM to 1 PM, Friday, March 5, 2021 at Round Lake Cemetery in Knox,Indiana, Braman & Son Memorial Chapel of Knox, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.

Services will be held at Round Lake Cemetery, Friday, March 5, 2021 at 1 PM with REV Bruce Bennett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery, Knox, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
