James R. Manns, 80 years old of Knox, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025 in Knox, Indiana, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Friday, November 10, 1944 in Salyersville, Kentucky, Son of the late Coy Manns and the late Willie(Rowe) Russell.

James was a member of the Eagle Creek Church.  He enjoyed working in his yard and fishing.  His greatest passion was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He worked as a Truck Driver.

Surviving are Wife, Alma Manns of Knox, Indiana, Son, Kevin(Yvonne) Manns of Nashville, Tennessee, Daughter, Patricia(Dwayne) Roe of Winamac, Indiana, 4 grandchildren 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Timothy Manns, parents Coy Manns and Willie Russell, brothers Harold and Charles"Goodboy'  Manns and sister Sue Dell Manns and great-grandson Waylon Box.

Friends will be received 10 AM till time of service at 1 PM, Tuesday, April 22 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 1 PM with Pastor Diana Riddle officiating.

Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery, North Judson, Indiana.
