James "Jim" Ebling

James "Jim" Ebling, 61 years old of Portage, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 in Valparaiso, Indiana.

He was born Saturday, June 17, 1961 in Belleville, Illinois, Son of the late Robert Ebling and the late Sandra(Rauschkolb) Ebling.

Jim was know as "Mr. Radiator" in Valparaiso, he owned and operated Auto Tech Automotive in Valparaiso.  He enjoyed working on cars and helping out others.   His greatest passion was spending time with his family, children, grandchildren and his fur baby Laura.

He worked as a mechanic.

Surviving are  his Wife, Sherri Ebling of Portage, Indiana, Son, Lee Ebling of Portage, Indiana, Daughter, Rose Shinabargar,of  Tennessee, Daughter, Brandy(Justin) Stephenson of Lafayette, Indiana, 5 grandchildren, Brother, Lawrence Schultz, of Indiana, Sister, Janet(Don) Miiller, of  Missouri.

He was preceded in death by parents Robert and Sandra Ebling and sister Joyce Ebling.

Friends will be received 1 PM till time of service at 5 PM, Saturday, June 17 at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox, Indiana.

Services will be held at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 5 PM.
